Tuning In CIC is responsible for email subscriptions branded Tuning In by Luke. Contact hello@tuning-in.co.uk. This notice covers email updates, not our apps.
Your information and choices
If you subscribe, we use your email address, any name you provide, your chosen local, online wellbeing or creative-practice update topics, and subscription and consent records. Technical anti-spam information can include your IP address, browser details and timestamps.
Our UK GDPR basis for marketing is your consent. New subscriptions use an email confirmation step (double opt-in). Signing up is optional: booking, downloading or using an app does not require marketing consent. Where you choose updates at checkout, your choices are also saved with your WooCommerce order.
We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate anti-spam protection and records needed to demonstrate consent and honour opt-outs. ICO guidance on email marketing.
Services we use
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com. MC4WP connects signup forms to Mailchimp, which manages subscriptions and sends emails for us. These service providers process information to provide their services.
Mailchimp may process information in the United States and other countries. Its data-processing terms describe transfer safeguards, including the UK Data Privacy Framework extension and UK contractual safeguards where applicable. Stopping emails and your rights
Withdraw consent using an email’s unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing or cancel a booking, download or necessary order records.
We keep subscription information while you subscribe, and limited consent or opt-out records afterwards where needed to demonstrate and honour your choices. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete order records.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us with any request or concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
