Creative work across education, culture, music and collaborative arts.

My practice sits between musician, facilitator, collaborator and researcher. I design projects that can hold structure and openness at the same time, allowing people to enter through sound, movement, objects, materials, stories, atmosphere or simply through being present.

SEND & Inclusive Practice

Long-term projects and one-off commissions in special schools, colleges and cultural settings. The work includes sensory soundscapes, co-constructed projects, creative research, anti-ableist pedagogy and staff development.

Museums, Galleries & Heritage

Projects developed around paintings, collections, architecture, objects, history and place, including work connected with the National Gallery, Museum of London, British Museum, Wallace Collection, Manchester Art Gallery and Open City.

Orchestras, Music & Performance

Creative learning, composition, workshops and performance with orchestras, venues and ensembles including the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Barbican, Philharmonia, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Opera North, BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall.

Cross-Arts & Collaboration

Collaborations with visual artists, dancers, theatre makers, movement practitioners and architects. Sound and bassoon can function as performance material, atmosphere, structure, response, invitation and shared artistic language.
